Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jack Munson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Thatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Munson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edward Thatch! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munson slips a jab from Thatch. Thatch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Jack Munson has been cut. Munson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thatch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Munson throws a right hand that Thatch ducks under and follows up with a left that Thatch also avoids with ease. Munson throws a series of punches but Thatch avoids them all with ease. Munson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A combination from Munson does no damage. Thatch throws a one two combo.
Thatch closes the distance and clinches. Munson blocks an uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thatch manages to break the clinch.
Munson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Munson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Thatch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Munson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thatch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thatch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Thatch feints a jab promting Munson to slip. Thatch then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Munson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Thatch darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Thatch tests Munson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Thatch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Munson is trying to force a seperation but Thatch has the dominant position. A frustrated look appears on Munson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Munson is trying to break the clinch but Thatch is controlling him. Thatch lands with a right to the head. Munson has had enough of the clinch but Thatch keeps him there for the moment. A short left from Thatch. Munson is looking to break free of the clinch but Thatch has double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thatch working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Jack Munson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Munson manages to break the clinch.
Munson slips a jab and a cross from Thatch.
Thatch cracks Munson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Thatch throws a nice looking combination but Munson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Thatch throws a series of punches but Munson avoids them all with ease. Thatch closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Munson crashing to the mat! Munson uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Jeez, Jack Munson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Munson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Edward Thatch! Edward Thatch decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
