Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jack Munson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Thatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thatch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Munson throws a right hand that Thatch ducks under and follows up with a left that Thatch also avoids with ease.

Munson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Thatch closes the distance and clinches.

Munson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thatch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Munson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thatch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thatch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Thatch feints a jab promting Munson to slip. Thatch then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Munson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Thatch darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Thatch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Munson is trying to force a seperation but Thatch has the dominant position.
A frustrated look appears on Munson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Thatch lands with a right to the head.
Munson has had enough of the clinch but Thatch keeps him there for the moment.

Thatch closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Munson crashing to the mat! Munson uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Jeez, Jack Munson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
