The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Veljanovski sprawls well. Veljanovski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bag gets slowly back to his feet.
Veljanovski drives through with a takedown into guard.
Veljanovski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Veljanovski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bag knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Veljanovski on the ground.
Bag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bag wants to control the position but Veljanovski says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Veljanovski swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
