Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samin Ax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by The Warrior Song. Samin Ax will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samin Ax!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Ax. Those never looked like landing.
Ax throws a nice looking combination but Harrison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ax throws a right and a left that Harrison avoids nicely.
Ax misses with a few strikes there.
Harrison swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Ax ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harrison moves away.
Harrison drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ax sprawls and moves away.
Harrison uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ax.
Harrison tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ax manages to circle out of the way.
Ax throws a right hand that Harrison ducks under and follows up with a left that Harrison also avoids with ease.
Harrison appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Ax connects with a single shot there.
Ax rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harrison moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Harrison drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ax sprawls and moves away.
Ax throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Samin Ax seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Harrison 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Harrison moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ax is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harrison uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ax.
Harrison drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ax sprawls and moves away.

Harrison tries to counter with a takedown but Ax is quick to defend against it.
Ax throws a right hand that Harrison ducks under and follows up with a left that Harrison also avoids with ease.
Ax throws a hook to the side of Harrison's head but Harrison sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ax pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Harrison back to the cage. Ax follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


It looks like Chuck Harrison has been cut.
Ax has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Harrison is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ax instigates a clinch.
Ax drops down looking for an ankle pick but Harrison pulls his leg out and moves away.
Harrison closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ax scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ax takes a swing at Harrison's ribcage but misses.
Harrison keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ax throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harrison half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ax listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ax fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ax throws a shot to the body.
A punch combination from Ax misses.
Harrison appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ax connects with a nice looking jab.
Ax throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ax tries to bum rush Harrison with a series of wild strikes but Harrison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Harrison tries to counter with a takedown but Ax is quick to defend against it.
Ax lands with a good body shot.
Ax rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harrison moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ax throws a right and a left that both miss.
Harrison ducks under a wild hook from Ax.

Ax fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ax stuns Harrison with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ax fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harrison manages to avoid it.

Ax fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harrison sprawls well initially but Ax persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ax is looking for a kimura here.
Ax wants to free his trapped foot but Harrison is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Ax is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Harrison has managed to free his arm - good work.

Ax seems to be working for a kimura but Harrison defends the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Ax has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Harrison defend it? Ax steps over the head and cranks it - Harrison is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ax!
