Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silent Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mother - Danzig. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silent Bob!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a jab but it's blocked by Savage.
Savage throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bob sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Savage slips a jab from Bob.
Bob keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Bob feints and as Savage raises his hands in defense, Bob changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bob pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Savage is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob postures up and lands a big shot to Savage's brow.
Savage keeping moving, preventing Bob from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground.
Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Savage's coaches at BigMouth Cabrons have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Bob lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bob shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bob tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Savage takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bob is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Savage rather than just go for the knockout.
Bob scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Savage manages to avoid it.
Bob connects with a leg kick. Savage looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bob misses with a low kick as Savage jumps back.
Crunch! Bob slams his shin into Savage's torso.
Savage takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Bob has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Bob has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
