Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Marcolini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elmo Salty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcolini comes to the cage accompanied by Raffaella Carra - Rumore. Salty has chosen Gonna Fly Now as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Marcolini! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Elmo Salty! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcolini throws a right hand that misses
and Salty makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Marcolini misses with a hook. Marcolini throws a right hand that Salty ducks under and follows up with a left that Salty also avoids with ease. Marcolini moves into the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Salty. Marcolini tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Salty avoids it. Salty lands a body shot. Salty landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Marcolini is breathing heavily. Salty wants to get back to striking at distance but Marcolini won't allow it.
Salty's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Marcolini takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Marco Marcolini has been cut. Salty scores with a nice body kick.
Marcolini shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marcolini thows a left - swing and a miss! We've been hearing reports that Marcolini has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Marcolini drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Salty is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Marcolini is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salty prevents Marcolini from moving into mount. Marcolini prevents Salty from escaping the position. Salty is not content to let Marcolini control the position. Marcolini tries to move to mount but Salty blocks the move with his legs. Marcolini lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Salty wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The strikes coming from Marcolini are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Marcolini throws an elbow but Salty slips to the side and avoids it well. Salty dodges the ground and pound from Marcolini.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salty prevents Marcolini from moving into mount. Salty tries to escape but Marcolini is in control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Salty has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Salty is pushing Marcolini's head away, looking to escape. Marcolini manages to hold on to the position though. The ground and pound from Marcolini seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Marcolini has knee on belly and moves into mount. Salty wants to try and get back to his feet. Marcolini landing strikes from the mount. Marcolini looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Marcolini lands a big shot to the head and Salty winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
