Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Savolainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank DeNino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savolainen comes to the cage accompanied by Winning. Jaakko Savolainen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaakko Savolainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank DeNino! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savolainen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. DeNino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Savolainen misses with a takedown and DeNino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. DeNino tries to bum rush Savolainen with a series of wild strikes but Savolainen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. DeNino throws a leg kick which misses Savolainen's front leg but catches the back leg as Savolainen tries to avoid it. DeNino connects with a crisp jab. DeNino lands a nice shot that snaps Savolainen's head back.
Savolainen moves to clinch but DeNino breaks away and DeNino connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oooh a lovely combination from Savolainen sends DeNino down but not out. Savolainen dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Frank DeNino has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! DeNino tries to bench press Savolainen off him but Savolainen keeps the position. DeNino is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Savolainen working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savolainen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Savolainen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! DeNino is trying to control Savolainen's posture but Savolainen avoids it. Savolainen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by DeNino, who protects the arm well. DeNino tries to bench press Savolainen off him but Savolainen keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Savolainen stands up and we're back to a striking position. A head kick by DeNino misses and Savolainen counters with a straight that turns DeNino's legs to rubber! Savolainen pushes forward with more strikes and DeNino goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaakko Savolainen! Jaakko Savolainen bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
