The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Carter throws out a powerful jab.
Carter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vasilevskiy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vasilevskiy circles away quickly and effectively.
Carter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vasilevskiy's head.
Vasilevskiy moves away from the strike by Carter.
Carter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Slight Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasilevskiy takes one on the button.
Vasilevskiy is rocked!
Carter connects with a right that clearly hurt Vasilevskiy. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Carter proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Vasilevskiy collapses and taps out under the pressure!
