Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Landon Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin comes to the cage accompanied by Ratamahatta. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Landon Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devon Smith!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Austin doesn't seem bothered though.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Austin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith.
Smith is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Austin throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and moves out of range.

It looks like Devon Smith has been cut.
Austin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Austin connects with a leg kick. Smith looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Austin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Landon Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Austin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Austin.
Smith swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Austin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Austin throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Smith is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Austin with a body shot.

Smith looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Austin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Austin clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Smith chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Austin can pounce on him.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Austin throws a head kick that half lands.


The cut above Devon Smith's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Austin scores with a hook to the body. Smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Austin cracks Smith with an open hand slap.
Smith ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Austin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Landon Austin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Austin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Austin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Austin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Austin blocks a jab.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Austin moved out of range nicely.
Austin digs a good hook to Smith's body.
Austin is looking to slow Smith down with leg kicks.
Austin scores with a jab to the body.
Austin scoring well with a low kick there.
A punch lands to the side of Smith 's head but he takes it in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Austin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Austin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Smith's head.
Austin misses with a low kick.

Smith on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Austin looks to throw a body kick
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Smith might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Austin has got the better of the exchanges.

Smith let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

and Smith counters with a nice uppercut.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Austin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Smith can do to turn this around?

Devon Smith's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Devon Smith's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Landon Austin!
Landon Austin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
