Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julius Mosley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matheus Correa!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Correa looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Correa stands and throws Mosley's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on Mosley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mosley is pushing Correa's head away, looking to escape. Correa manages to hold on to the position though.

Correa stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mosley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Correa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Correa wants to counter the offense by Mosley and move into the clinch position.
Matheus Correa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Correa looks to clinch

so Mosley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mosley throws a strike but Correa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Correa wants to pass the guard but Mosley is keeping the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Correa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Correa wants to control from the top but Mosley keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mosley pulls Correa in close to his closed guard and prevents Correa from doing any damage or advancing position.

Mosley scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Correa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mosley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mosley is not content to let Correa control the position.
Correa is chipping away with strikes.

Correa decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Mosley slips a jab and a cross from Correa.
Mosley half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Correa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Correa shoots in and gets a takedown into Mosley's guard.
Correa wants to get up but he can't break Mosley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Correa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mosley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Correa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mosley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Correa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Mosley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Correa defends well.
Correa is pushing down on Mosley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mosley is fighting to maintain full guard but Correa has managed to sneak the leg through.

Correa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Correa is keen to just control but Mosley is a slippery customer.

and Mosley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mosley manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Correa is breathing heavily.
Mosley can't find room to land a body shot as Correa controls the action.

Mosley cracks Correa with a solid left hand.

Mosley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mosley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mosley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Correa sprawls well initially but Mosley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mosley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Correa to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Mosley looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Correa is defending well. Mosley quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Correa has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mosley celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
