12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Liddel! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Liddel was well out of range. Poor timing from Lynch. Lynch gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lynch lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Lynch gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Chuck Liddel has been cut. With the fighters up against the cage, Lynch throws an elbow but misses. Liddel blocks an elbow strike from Lynch.
Lynch lands a nice elbow. Liddel avoids the elbow strike from Lynch, against the cage.
Liddel looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Lynch tries a body shot but Liddel blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice body punch from Lynch - that landed with a thud.
Lynch lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Lynch creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Liddel's defenses. Lynch lands an elbow that stopped Liddel in his tracks for a moment. This has been an exciting period of action! Liddel tries for a takedown. No joy.

Lynch tries to finish him with strikes but Liddel still seems able to defend himself so Lynch steps back and lets Liddel get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Liddel is rocked! Liddel looks winded! Lynch clinches up with Liddel and pushes him back against the cage. Liddel avoids the elbow strike from Lynch, against the cage.

That has opened up Chuck Liddel's cut even more. This has been an exciting period of action! Liddel wants to break the clinch but can't.
