Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Figueiredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Jan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figueiredo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nao Vale Mais Chorar Por Ele. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueiredo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jan is being controlled here.
Jan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Figueiredo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Figueiredo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jan!
Jan is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Figueiredo has taken his back.
Jan just trying to survive but Figueiredo is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Figueiredo slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Figueiredo is working for a rear naked choke. Jan is not defending it well and Figueiredo has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jan refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jan's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). William Figueiredo!
