PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammar comes to the cage accompanied by STAIND. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tang's choice of entrance music: Dracul Va Domni Din Nou In Transilvania. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammar fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tang checks it well.
Hammar throws a head kick that misses.
Hammar throws a sloppy head kick and Tang moves out of range easily.
Tang shoots for a takedown but Hammar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hammar is fending him off so far but Tang persists. Nope, Hammar circles away and we're back to standing.

Jack Hammar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bang Tang.

Hammar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tang is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tang has escaped and now he's on top!
Hammar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hammar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hammar, up you get!

Tang shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tang was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well Tang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
