Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between TomFuu II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Shift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TomFuu II!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Shift!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
II misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
II shoots in for a takedown but Shift shows good takedown defense.
Shift tries a head kick but it misses.

Shift decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shift misses with a head shot. II uses the momentum to regain guard.
Shift wants to stand and escape but instead II has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Shift working for a triangle but II defends it easily.

II drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shift dives on top into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shift lands a couple of digs.

II working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shift doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but II is tightening it up a little... Shift has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shift reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shift taps out! nice BJJ there by II!
