Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Hick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Hick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Carter! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hick stuffs the takedown. Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hick tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hick to the ground. Hick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hick went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Carter wants to clinch up but Hick keeps it at a distance. Hick shoots in and gets a takedown into Carter's guard. Hick engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Carter is trying to control the position but Hick postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hick drops back looking for a leg! Carter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carter manages to kick Hick off! Hick jumps back into Carter's guard. Hick is looking to work some ground and pound but Carter has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hick tries to free his leg and advance position but Carter is retaining full guard. Hick loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Carter managing to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hick takes the fight into the clinch. Hick jumps guard and drags Carter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hick is pulling down on Carter's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hick has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though. Hick has a closed guard, preventing Carter from standing up. Carter trying to control the position from guard on top but Hick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carter is fighting to break Hick's control of his arms but Hick is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Carter wants to control from the top but Hick keeps moving. Carter is looking to stand up but Hick won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hick keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hick throws a head kick that misses. Carter tries a quick counter leg kick but Hick is wise to it. A head kick misses from Hick. Hick throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Carter gets caught flat footed, as Hick shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hick looking to pass the guard. Hick slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hick postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter looking for a sweep. Not yet Carter, not yet. Hick is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Carter is trying to control the position but Hick postures up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hick slips nicely into half guard. Hick trying to pass the guard but Carter defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hick prevents Carter from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Hick dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hick shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Carter is trying to defend but Hick finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hick has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Carter is trying to escape the mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hick is landing with some decent strikes but Carter is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Hick sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hick lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hick wants to finish this one by submission but Carter is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hick. Carter can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter tries to hold on but Hick postures up. Hick could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hick with shots to the head and body - Carter looks very uncomfortable down there. Hick goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Carter turns into him and now he's in Hick's guard.
Hick looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Carter trying to control but Hick is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hick is pulling down on Carter's head to control his posture. Hick looking for a sweep. Not yet Hick, not yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hick holds on and takes a little breather. Hick wants to get back to his feet but Carter is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hick controlling Carter's posture. Hick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hick tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Carter trying to control but Hick is working from the bottom. John Hick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hick is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carter is aware though and is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round.
