Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carmen Tyse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweet shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyse as he avoids it easily.
Tyse throws a sloppy head kick and Sweet moves out of range easily.
Tyse throws a right hand that Sweet ducks under and follows up with a left that Sweet also avoids with ease.
Sweet scores with a takedown into Tyse's guard.
Tyse is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tyse is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sweet wants to pass the guard but Tyse is keeping the position.
Sweet throwing strikes but missing.
Sweet sitting in guard here, content to control.

Sweet stands up from Tyse's guard - Sweet perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tyse fails with the takedown.
Tyse circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sweet dodges the punch combination from Tyse.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sweet.
Sweet is looking to clinch but Tyse is avoiding it.
Tyse misses with a hook. Sweet ducked under it nicely.
Sweet feints and as Tyse raises his hands in defense, Sweet changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sweet is looking to stand up but Tyse won't let him.

Sweet drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tyse dives on top into guard.
Tyse is looking to work some ground and pound but Sweet has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyse lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Tyse decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tyse throws a head kick that misses.
Sweet steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tyse.
Sweet will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carmen Tyse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Sweet.
Sweet looks gassed!
Tyse instigates a clinch.
Tyse wants a takedown.

Tyse tightens his grip and picks Sweet up, before dumping him to the ground. Sweet manages to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sweet is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sweet looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sweet seems keen to control Tyse's posture.
Tyse stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Tyse doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sweet counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sweet shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyse as he jumps to the side.
Tyse goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Tyse tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sweet swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sweet misses with a takedown
and Tyse counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sweet is trying to keep Tyse in close.

Tyse preventing the sweep.
Tyse stands and throws Sweet's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tyse tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tyse goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sweet rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Tyse's guard! Nice work there by Sweet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sweet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmen Tyse dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tyse stuffs the takedown.
Tyse gets the takedown into side control.
Carmen Tyse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sweet wants to control but Tyse postures up.
Tyse thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sweet wants to control but Tyse postures up.
Sweet tries to control but Tyse manages to take his back.
Sweet fending off the submission attempt from Tyse.
Tyse lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

I really don't envy Sweet right now.
Sweet defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Tyse's arms.
Tyse throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Sweet has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Even with his hooks in, Tyse manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tyse has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Sweet is in real trouble here. Tyse gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Sweet is tapping out! Tyse wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Carmen Tyse!
