Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Todd Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Roberts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Bob! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bob did well to prevent Roberts getting side control. Roberts will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Roberts is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bob is just riding it out for now. Roberts eventually gives up the hold. Bob keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Bob is defending well. Ground and pound from Roberts. Bob is trying to stand back up but Roberts is controlling him
Roberts takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bob should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bob is looking for a sweep. Roberts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Roberts landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Bob is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Roberts pulls his head out easily. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bob gets caught napping as Roberts dives in and scores a takedown. Bob manages to retain guard. Roberts is working Bob over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Roberts is stalling in the full guard. Roberts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground. Roberts decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bob, up you get! Bob pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Roberts. Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Roberts tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Roberts wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bob, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts lands a decent elbow from side control. Roberts lands some shots froms side control. Roberts happy to just control the position for now. Roberts landing strikes. Roberts grinds an elbow into Bob's temple. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Bob tries to improve position but can't. Bob seems a little lost for a moment, as Roberts dominates the positioning. Roberts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bob knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

He has the arm isolated but Bob is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Roberts is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bob's shoulder. That is not cool. Roberts tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Roberts has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Roberts looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bob is avoiding damage well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roberts goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bob rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Roberts's guard! Nice work there by Bob! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roberts looks up at the clock and then as Bob takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Roberts smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's one minute gone in the round. Bob thows a leg kick but Roberts checks it and Roberts counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Roberts shoots in and bounces Bob off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bob trying to control the position.
Roberts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Roberts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bob swivels though and keeps the full guard. Roberts throwing strikes but missing. Roberts stands up from Bob's guard - Roberts perhaps looking for a knockout. Roberts looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Roberts stands up out of the half guard. Bob looks for a takedown but Roberts sprawls well. Bob throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roberts's waist but Roberts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bob off to one side. Bob is breathing heavily. Roberts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Roberts stands up over Bob, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Roberts cracks Bob with a solid left hand. Roberts pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Roberts looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Roberts cracks Bob with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Frank Bob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roberts is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Roberts!
