Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Behnder Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Behnder Jr!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Behnder Jr.
Despite the aggression on Behnder Jr's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Pettis looks for a takedown but Behnder Jr sprawls well.
Behnder Jr throws out a counter right but Pettis avoids it with no problem.

Some bone on bone action there as Pettis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Pettis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pettis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pettis tries to free his leg and advance position but Behnder Jr is retaining full guard.

Pettis is fighting to break Behnder Jr's control of his arms but Behnder Jr is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Pettis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Behnder Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pettis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergio Pettis will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Behnder Jr is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pettis connects with a decent elbow.

Pettis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Behnder Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Behnder Jr in particular looking to stall.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pettis is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Behnder Jr!

Behnder Jr sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Pettis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Behnder Jr is just riding it out for now. Pettis eventually gives up the hold.

Pettis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Behnder Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pettis.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Behnder Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
