Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lazar Angelov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kodo Drums. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lazar Angelov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hideo Sato! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angelov throws a sloppy body shot
and Sato counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sato. Sato thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Angelov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sato on the ground. Sato controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Angelov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sato slips nicely into half guard. Angelov is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at MB Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Sato thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Angelov's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sato throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Angelov won't allow Sato to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sato is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Angelov defends it well. Angelov is trying to stand.
Sato has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sato wants to control but Angelov is keeping him busy. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sato seems to be working for a kimura but Angelov defends the submission attempt. Angelov is defending against the submission attempts here by Sato.
Sato is looking to advance position but Angelov won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angelov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Angelov is just riding it out for now. Sato eventually gives up the hold. Sato seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sato is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sato throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sato is trying to control. Angelov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sato in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Angelov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sato!
