4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Watson! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Ngeuy misses. It seemed like Watson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ngeuy wants to clinch up but Watson keeps it at a distance. Ngeuy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Watson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ngeuy tries to clinch but Watson moves out of range. It seemed like Watson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ngeuy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Watson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ngeuy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Watson, pushing him back against the cage. Ngeuy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Watson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ngeuy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A knee to the head by Ngeuy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Watson wants a takedown.

Watson is still on wobbly legs! Can Ngeuy finish him? Ngeuy jerks Watson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Watson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Ngeuy goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Ngeuy because Watson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
