Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Silva!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Silva looking for submissions off his back.
Silva felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Silva is trying to maintain the position but Taylor is very close to passing his half guard.
Taylor is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Taylor is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Silva!
Taylor loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Silva scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Taylor land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Taylor stands and salutes the crowd.

A relieved looking David Taylor thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Chuck Silva spoke after the fight, saying 'it was bad luck'.
