Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Garth Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Last Resort kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Garth Gordon had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Garth Gordon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Jaa! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaa throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gordon avoids the head kick by Jaa.
An attempted straight right counter from Gordon misses the target. Gordon shoots and misses and Jaa counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gordon is lucky that one didn't land flush. Jaa misses with a body shot.
Jaa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gordon is rocked! Jaa misses with a head kick.
Jaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gordon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Jaa throws a sloppy head kick and Gordon moves out of range easily. Gordon avoids the head kick by Jaa.
Jaa connects with a solid leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jaa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jaa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jaa throws a head kick but Gordon moves out of range.
Gordon appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Gordon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jaa sprawls well initially but Gordon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gordon slips a nice elbow through Jaa's hands, connecting with Jaa's forehead. Gordon scoring with strikes to the body and head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gordon thows a huge punch but Jaa dodges it nicely.
Gordon not landing any meaningful shots this time. Jaa is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gordon scores with a couple of nice shots. Gordon slips a nice elbow through Jaa's hands, connecting with Jaa's forehead. Gordon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jaa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gordon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jaa is looking to escape. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gordon connects with a nice short shot to Jaa's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordon scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Jaa wants to control but Gordon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Gordon is trying for a kimura here. Jaa looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gordon wins by kimura!
