Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramen Noodles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noodles's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Have a Dream. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramen Noodles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marvin Blackwell!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blackwell closes the distance and clinches up with Noodles, looking for a takedown. Blackwell pushes Noodles against the cage but Noodles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Noodles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blackwell is fending him off so far but Noodles persists. Nope, Blackwell circles away and we're back to standing.
Noodles shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blackwell defends it nicely.
Blackwell throws a push kick but Noodles slaps the foot to one side.
Noodles has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Blackwell misses with a head kick.
We've been informed that Blackwell has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Noodles shoots in looking for a takedown. Blackwell tries to sprawl out of it but Noodles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blackwell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramen Noodles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blackwell gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noodles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blackwell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blackwell wants to control but Noodles is keeping him busy.
Blackwell tries to stand but Noodles is controlling his head.
Blackwell decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Blackwell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Noodles misses with a takedown
and Blackwell counters with a head kick.
Blackwell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Noodles.
Noodles shoots in looking for a takedown but Blackwell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Noodles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Blackwell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Noodles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blackwell lands with a nice body kick.
Noodles walks forward, straight into a front kick from Blackwell.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Noodles misses with a takedown attempt - Blackwell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Noodles looks to land a right hand but Blackwell moved out of range.
Noodles dives in and grabs Blackwell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blackwell pushes down on Noodles's head and hops out.
Noodles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blackwell as he avoids it easily.
Noodles circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blackwell gets a double leg takedown into Noodles's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Noodles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blackwell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Blackwell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Noodles is keeping the position for now.
Blackwell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Blackwell trying to control but Noodles is working from the bottom.

Blackwell postures up.
Noodles had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blackwell defends it easily.
Blackwell tries to free his leg and advance position but Noodles is retaining full guard.
Blackwell wants to get up but he can't break Noodles's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Blackwell is sitting in close to Noodles's body. Noodles has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Blackwell is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Blackwell is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Noodles.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ramen Noodles!
Ramen Noodles really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Valhalla Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
