Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Moshington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moshington comes to the cage accompanied by Common Enemny - Pit Trilogy. Brooks has chosen 2nd Sucks - A Day To Remember as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Calvin Brooks enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, George Moshington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Calvin Brooks! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moshington scores with a hook to the body. Brooks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Moshington slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Brooks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Moshington throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sloppy strikes from Brooks. Those never looked like landing. Moshington looks to land a combination but Brooks avoids it well. Moshington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brooks moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brooks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Moshington cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Moshington throws a predictable looking body shot
and Brooks counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moshington trying to control the position.
Brooks throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Moshington looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Moshington is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moshington keeping moving, preventing Brooks from controlling successfully. Brooks with a flurry of punches that miss. Brooks passes easily into side control. Nice work. Moshington is looking for a sweep. Moshington can't do much from the bottom here. Brooks working the body and head with strikes. We've been hearing good reports from Moshington's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moshington is trying to control Brooks's posture but Brooks avoids it. Moshington gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Moshington wants to control but Brooks is having none of it. Brooks looking for a guillotine from mount but Moshington is having none of it. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brooks working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Moshington bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Brooks working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks looking for a sweep. Not yet Brooks, not yet. Moshington has gone for a leg lock! Brooks slips out almost immediately though and dives into Moshington's guard. Brooks trying to move into half guard but instead Moshington has managed to sweep!
Brooks is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moshington defends well. Brooks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Moshington trying to control the position from guard on top but Brooks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moshington drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brooks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moshington has Brooks in his guard. Brooks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moshington swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moshington wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Brooks is now in half guard. Brooks stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calvin Brooks dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Moshington misses the jab. Brooks is looking to clinch but Moshington is avoiding it.

Brooks dives in for a single leg takedown but Moshington sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. George Moshington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brooks closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moshington to the mat! Moshington manages to get full guard. Brooks throws a big right hand that misses. Moshington not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Moshington is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brooks is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brooks content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Brooks trying to control but Moshington is working from the bottom. Brooks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moshington swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moshington had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brooks defends it easily. Moshington working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brooks has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Moshington looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moshington is trying to get back to full guard. Brooks is nestled in close to Moshington, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Brooks not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Brooks winds up and cracks Moshington with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Moshington is not content to let Brooks control the position. Ground and pound from Brooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Moshington has a hand on Brooks's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Brooks takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Moshington is trying desperately to improve position. Brooks working away from the top, dropping strikes. Brooks avoids the attempt from Moshington to control. Moshington is desperately trying to improve his position but Brooks has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brooks avoids the attempt from Moshington to control. Brooks unloading with bombs! Moshington tries to hold on but Brooks postures up. Brooks cracks Moshington with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Brooks has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brooks lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Calvin Brooks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Moshington looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Brooks moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Moshington wants to control but Brooks postures up. Moshington trying his best to control but Brooks has mounted him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brooks postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Moshington looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brooks throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Moshington because Brooks loaded up on that one. Brooks is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Moshington has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Moshington!

George Moshington has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Calvin Brooks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Brooks's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Moshington throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
