Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Gideon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Gideon! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gideon dives in and scores a takedown into Diaz's guard. Diaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gideon is one step ahead there. Gideon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Diaz looking to control but Gideon passes into half guard.
Gideon wants to stand up but Diaz has a hold of him and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gideon content to control rather than advance. Diaz wants to control but Gideon is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gideon prevents Diaz from improving his position. Diaz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Diaz is holding on to half guard well. Diaz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gideon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Diaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Diaz trying to control here.
Gideon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Diaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gideon on the ground. Diaz trying to get back to full guard but Gideon takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz is squirming around, avoiding Gideon's attempts to control the action. Gideon controlling the pace for now. Diaz tries to lock up and control but Gideon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gideon controlling his opponent. Diaz tries to reverse the position but Gideon maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gideon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Diaz is trying to escape the mount.
Diaz tries to hold on but Gideon postures up. Gideon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diaz is looking to escape. Diaz wants to hold on but Gideon pushes him away. Gideon looking to control but Diaz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Diaz tries to improve his position but instead Gideon has taken his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz rolls, trying to escape but Gideon keeps control of the position.
Gideon is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Diaz has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Gideon has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Diaz taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Gideon doesn't care though - he's delighted!
