The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diamond moves into range and clinches up with guston.
guston is looking to break free of the clinch but Diamond has double underhooks.
guston looking to slow down the pace here.

Diamond gets control of guston's arms and successfully pulls guard. Diamond will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
guston postures up.

Diamond looking for a guillotine here but guston defends easily.

Diamond had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. guston is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Diamond Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take guston's back instead.
Diamond is trying to stick to guston's back but guston is turning into Diamond. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Diamond's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by guston.
Diamond really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Diamond has his foot on guston's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. guston works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Diamond goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, guston has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Diamond but great work by guston.
