Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coco Rocket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Johnson feints and as Rocket raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Johnson wants to stand but Rocket is controlling his posture from full guard.

Johnson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rocket looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rocket will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rocket really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rocket looking to ground and pound but Johnson is blocking nicely.

Rocket wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rocket.

Rocket has control of Johnson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Johnson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Johnson tries to reverse the position but Rocket maintains control.

Rocket goes for an armbar but Johnson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Johnson.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Johnson gets to his feet. Rocket looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rocket.

Johnson feints and as Rocket raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rocket is staying active underneath Johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rocket gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Luke Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
