Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kari Parisyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parisyen comes to the cage accompanied by Hari ng Tondo. Stevens comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't Hold Us kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kari Parisyen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Stevens!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisyen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stevens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Parisyen.
Victor Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parisyen throws a push kick but Stevens slaps the foot to one side.
Parisyen misses with a body kick.

Stevens rushes Parisyen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stevens prevents the takedown attempt.

Parisyen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parisyen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stevens has a closed guard, preventing Parisyen from standing up.

Parisyen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Parisyen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stevens was well out of range. Poor timing from Parisyen.
As Parisyen backs off Stevens throws a huge counter combo but Parisyen manages to avoid it all.
Stevens takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stevens lands a nice shot that snaps Parisyen's head back.
Parisyen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stevens.
Stevens might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Stevens tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parisyen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Parisyen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Parisyen stalling away here and it's allowed Stevens to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Parisyen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stevens circles away.

Stevens clinches up with Parisyen and pushes him back against the cage.

Parisyen throws an elbow but it misses.

Stevens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Parisyen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Stevens comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Parisyen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stevens defends it nicely.

Parisyen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stevens stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Parisyen wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position.
Parisyen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Victor Stevens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Stevens fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Stevens lands a head kick. Parisyen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Parisyen closes the distance and clinches up with Stevens, looking for a takedown. Parisyen pushes Stevens against the cage but Stevens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stevens cracks Parisyen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Stevens shoots in looking for a takedown but Parisyen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stevens's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Stevens displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parisyen throws out the jab.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stevens working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Parisyen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stevens defends well.

Stevens is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Parisyen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Parisyen.

Stevens takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Parisyen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stevens finds it's way round the side to connect with Parisyen's head.

Stevens lands a good knee to the midsection. Parisyen won't want to take too many of those.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Parisyen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parisyen wants it to stay on the feet.

Parisyen swings for the body but Stevens moves out of range.
Stevens rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parisyen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stevens works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Parisyen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stevens to score with a decent uppercut.

Parisyen is rocked!
Parisyen shoots in looking for a takedown but Stevens manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Parisyen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Oh Parisyen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stevens scores with a head kick. Parisyen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Parisyen looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parisyen seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Stevens shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Parisyen is backing up but Stevens catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Parisyen covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Stevens Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Stevens!
Our winner, Victor Stevens, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Kari Parisyen stepped up to the mic, saying 'I give it up to my opponent. He fought good tonight.'.
