The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


It looks like Greg Todd has been cut.
Martin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Todd circles away quickly and effectively.
Martin stuffs the takedown.
Martin fails to land the takedown.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Martin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Martin duly obliges.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Martin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Todd's hands.
Martin shoots in and drives through. Todd sprawls well.

Martin lands a left and a right that send Todd crashing to the mat, dazed. Martin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Todd fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Martin avoids it really well and circles away.

Todd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Martin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Todd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Martin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Martin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Martin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.


Todd is rocked!
Todd tries to close the distance and clinch but Martin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It looks like Martin has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Martin cracks Todd with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Todd tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Martin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Todd is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Martin!
Tony Martin decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
