Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Run Forcover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Zol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Run Forcover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jay Zol!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forcover tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zol sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Forcover somewhat.
Forcover will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zol has a takedown stuffed.
Horrible takedown attempt by Forcover or perhaps it was just good defense by Zol, which made it look bad.

Forcover is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zol sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Forcover shoots in looking for a takedown but Zol manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Forcover's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Forcover shoots in for a double leg but Zol sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Forcover fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zol avoids it really well and circles away.

Forcover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zol's waist but Zol gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Forcover off to one side.
Run Forcover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zol darts in looking for a takedown but Forcover gets double underhooks and turns Zol into the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Zol tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Zol goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Forcover turns into him and now he's in Zol's guard.

Jay Zol comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zol has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
