Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Lucien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andre Lucien!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucien tries to clinch but Clayton is having none of it.
Lucien clinches up against the cage.
Clayton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lucien closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lucien fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Clayton checks it well.

Lucien blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lucien is looking to break free of the clinch but Clayton has double underhooks.
Clayton pulls guard effortlessly.
Lucien postures up.
Clayton has his hands on Lucien's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clayton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lucien gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lucien wanted to stand there but Clayton had control of the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Clayton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lucien's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lucien's back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lucien misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Clayton.
Clayton tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lucien just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lucien is trying to trip Clayton. He has hold of a leg but Clayton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lucien persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Lucien has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Clayton is proving hard to escape from.

Andre Lucien showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lucien creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Clayton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Clayton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lucien counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Andre Lucien is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Andre Lucien comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
