The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Johnson drives through with a takedown into Mullen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mullen tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Johnson has picked Mullen up - he's going for a ride! Johnson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Johnson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Johnson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mullen quickly recovers to half guard.
Johnson moves into full mount! Mullen won't be happy about that!
Mullen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Oh Mullen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Mullen is out on his feet! Johnson sets himself and nearly takes Mullen's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
