Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Made (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Orsini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orsini is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Era. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Taylor Made! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gabriel Orsini! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Made shoots in and drives through. Orsini sprawls well. Orsini lands with a nice combination. Made backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Taylor Made has been cut. Made shoots for a takedown but Orsini saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Orsini is looking to clinch. Made tries to land a front kick but Orsini steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Orsini with a poor takedown and Made counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Made. Made is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Orsini controls Made momentarily but Made frees himself. Orsini trying to control the position here. Orsini not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Made trying to control the position from guard on top but Orsini is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Orsini not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Made stays in close to Orsini's body and controls the position. Made loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Made gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orsini gets back to half guard. Orsini is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orsini avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Made. Made wants to pass to mount but Orsini is defending the position. Made performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Orsini wants to control but Made is keeping busy.
Made takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Made is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orsini on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Made controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Taylor Made just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Made scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Orsini is trying to improve his position. Orsini should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Orsini wants to control but Made postures up. Orsini is not content to let Made control the position. Orsini is trying to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taylor Made dominated that round. The cut man is working on Taylor Made's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Orsini takes a swing at Made's ribcage but misses. Orsini closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Orsini lands in his opponent's guard. Orsini is fighting to break Made's control of his arms but Made is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Orsini prevents Made from getting back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Made looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Made is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Orsini is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Made is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Orsini is refusing to be controlled, as Made sits in half guard. Made is pressing down on Orsini's thigh, looking to free his foot. Orsini is holding on for now. Made is keen to just control but Orsini is a slippery customer. Orsini wants to get back to his feet.
Made wants to pass to mount but Orsini is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Orsini makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Orsini. Orsini working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Made doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Orsini is tightening it up a little... Made has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Made reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Made taps out! nice BJJ there by Orsini!
