Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Fluffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddy Fluffman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Shaw! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Fluffman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shaw shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fluffman pinned against the cage. Fluffman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fluffman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fluffman shoots and misses and Shaw counters with a single leg into guard. Fluffman didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shaw prevents Fluffman from getting back to his feet. Shaw stays in close to Fluffman's body and controls the position. Shaw stops Fluffman from standing up. Shaw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Shaw slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fluffman being controlled for a moment. Fluffman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw just content to control the position. Fluffman is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Fluffman's face as Shaw controls the position. Shaw prevents Fluffman from escaping the position. Shaw controlling from side mount. I looks like Shaw might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Despite being in the dominant position, Simon Shaw just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shaw has a takedown stuffed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fluffman misses the jab. Fluffman clinches up against the cage. Shaw tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Freddy Fluffman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Shaw. Fluffman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fluffman darts in and clinches Shaw up against the cage. Fluffman pressing his opponent against the cage. Nice body punch from Fluffman. Fluffman scores with a shoulder strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fluffman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed right hand from Fluffman misses the target. Fluffman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shaw momentarily.
Fluffman lands the left hand. Fluffman closes the distance and clinches. Shaw tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shaw keeps control of Fluffman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fluffman manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fluffman being controlled here, momentarily. Shaw's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Shaw dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fluffman rushes Shaw and presses him up against the cage. Fluffman breaks the clinch.
Shaw bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Shaw shoots for a double leg takedown but Fluffman sprawls well. He's pushed Shaw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fluffman lands a head shot. Fluffman lands a nice looking body shot.
A slow jab from Fluffman misses its intended target. Fluffman catches Shaw with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Shaw moves out of range of the strikes. Fluffman clobbers Shaw with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Fluffman throws a leg kick and Shaw counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fluffman's guard now. Shaw pushing down on Fluffman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Fluffman is trying to stand.

Fluffman really wants to buck Shaw off and get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fluffman is bucking up trying to escape but Shaw cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Fluffman is looking to improve his position but Shaw isn't that keen on the idea. Shaw sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Fluffman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shaw counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fluffman! Shaw takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Fluffman swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Simon Shaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shaw winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
