The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas tries to clinch there but Roscrow circles away.
Roscrow throws out a counter right but Thomas avoids it with no problem.
Thomas throws a looping overhand right but Roscrow ducks down to avoid it.
Roscrow moves out of range of the strikes.

Thomas clinches with his opponent.
A right hand to the body from Thomas.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Thomas.

Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Roscrow tries to keep at a distance but Thomas has taken the fight into the clinch.
Roscrow has had enough of the clinch but Thomas keeps him there for the moment.
Thomas has Roscrow pressed against the cage, preventing Roscrow from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Thomas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thomas misses with a body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Roscrow has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thomas moves into the clinch successfully.
Roscrow is trying to push Thomas away but Thomas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Thomas enables Roscrow to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thomas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Roscrow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Thomas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roscrow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thomas has managed to get both his arms back between Roscrow's legs - danger averted.
Thomas wants to pass the guard but Roscrow is keeping the position.

Perry Roscrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thomas throws a shot from downtown. Roscrow moves away and avoids it.
Roscrow keeps the fight on the outside.
Roscrow darts in looking for a takedown but Thomas gets double underhooks and turns Roscrow into the cage.

Roscrow has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thomas finds it's way round the side to connect with Roscrow's head.

It looks like Perry Roscrow has been cut.

As Roscrow tries to get set, Thomas tries to push him back and clinch up but Roscrow manages to avoid the attempt.

That has opened up Perry Roscrow's cut even more.

Oooooh!!! Thomas has knocked Roscrow down with a huge combo! Thomas steps away and waves a wobbly Roscrow back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thomas needs to keep his hands up - Roscrow had a free shot at his head there.
Roscrow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thomas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Roscrow looks to land a combination but Thomas avoids it well.
Thomas tries to clinch up but Roscrow circles away and keeps his distance.
Thomas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Roscrow stalks Thomas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thomas's face. Thomas staggers backwards, shaken.
Thomas connects with a looping right hand.
Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roscrow manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Thomas.
Roscrow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thomas pinned against the cage. Thomas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Roscrow motions for Thomas to come forward. Roscrow throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Thomas wants to clinch up but Roscrow keeps it at a distance.

Thomas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thomas connects with a nice short shot to Roscrow's temple.
