Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Helio dos Passos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eriku Landstrimma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landstrimma lands with a thumping leg kick.
Landstrimma goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Landstrimma lands a nice leg kick that just misses dos Passos's sensitive parts.
dos Passos has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Landstrimma throws a shot to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Landstrimma. That's going to slow dos Passos down.
dos Passos staying out of range there.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Landstrimma, right into the meat.
Landstrimma feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to dos Passos's calf.
Landstrimma tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. dos Passos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A quick step to the side and dos Passos tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Landstrimma fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt dos Passos.
Landstrimma clinches up against the cage.
Landstrimma misses with some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Landstrimma tries a body shot but dos Passos blocks it.
Landstrimma scores with a nice hook to the head.
Landstrimma has dos Passos pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Landstrimma pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending dos Passos tumbling to the mat - Landstrimma dives into dos Passos's guard.
Landstrimma stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! dos Passos throws up his legs and catches Landstrimma in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Landstrimma tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by dos Passos! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Helio dos Passos!
Our winner, Helio dos Passos, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
