Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allen Johnny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Wellman Iii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wellman Iii throws a body punch but Johnny moves out of range.
Wellman Iii closes the distance and clinches.
Johnny manages to pull guard.
Wellman Iii stays in close to Johnny's body and controls the position.
Johnny has control of Wellman Iii's left arm, preventing Wellman Iii from doing any damage.
Wellman Iii really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnny. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johnny is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wellman Iii defends well.

Johnny decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Johnny throws a looping overhand right but Wellman Iii ducks down to avoid it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wellman Iii gets a takedown into half guard.
Johnny tries to roll over but Wellman Iii keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnny works his way to full guard. Good work.
Wellman Iii stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnny swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wellman Iii slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnny closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Allen Johnny will probably get the nod.

Johnny goes for a double leg but Wellman Iii avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wellman Iii continues to drive forward.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wellman Iii reaches up to try and control the position but Johnny seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Wellman Iii rolls and tries to escape and now Johnny has his back!
Johnny is hanging on to Wellman Iii's back as he tries to escape.
Johnny is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wellman Iii knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wellman Iii for a finish.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
What can Wellman Iii do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Allen Johnny.
I think Johnny has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
