Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bedford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Dodson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Dodson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bedford misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dodson tries to clinch there but Bedford circles away.
Dodson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bedford tries to avoid it but Dodson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bedford to the ground. Bedford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dodson throws a combination. Bedford tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Bedford turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bedford manages to end up in side control.

Bedford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dodson pushes Bedford off looking to stand but Bedford dives back in and keeps control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dodson closes the distance and clinches up with Bedford, looking for a takedown. Dodson pushes Bedford against the cage but Bedford circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bedford wants to counter with a clinch but Dodson pushes him away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Bedford. Dodson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dodson goes for a double leg but Bedford avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bedford continues to drive forward.

That was a close round but I would say that John Dodson will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Johnny Bedford.
Well Bedford has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
