Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Kucharski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcel Kucharski struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. King Kong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, King Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcel Kucharski ! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong clinches up against the cage. Kucharski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kucharski pinned against the cage. Kucharski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kucharski throws a fast counter high kick but Kong manages to duck under it in time. Kucharski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kong throws a big counter combination but Kucharski scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Kucharski with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Kong to counter with a crisp jab. Kucharski avoids the head kick by Kong.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kucharski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kucharski doesn't manage to clinch there - Kong circles away.
Kong moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Kucharski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kong is looking for the KO! Kong has been working on his balance at Quick Fingers BEST BANG FOR BUCK Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Kucharski . The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kucharski keeps control of Kong as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kucharski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kong just stands there and leans against the cage. Kong jumps guard.
Kucharski looking to sit in guard and control but Kong gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kong controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kong stopping the sweep attempt from Kucharski . Kong decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kong has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kong cracks Kucharski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Kucharski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kong goes for a double leg but Kucharski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kucharski continues to drive forward. That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kong. A nice combination there by Kong.

Kong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kucharski , who protects the arm well. An elbow from Kong crashes against the mat.

Kong is looking to take a break and control but Kucharski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
