The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Hicks. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hicks.
It looks like Pete Damato Jr has been cut.
Hicks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hicks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
No luck for Damato Jr with that takedown attempt.

Hicks lands a lovely overhand right.
That has opened up Pete Damato Jr's cut even more.
Hicks drops Damato Jr with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Damato Jr looks back up at him and smiles so Hicks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A combination from Hicks does no damage.
Hicks connects with a looping right hand.
The cut above Pete Damato Jr's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hicks lands a big right hand that sends Damato Jr crashing to the mat! Hicks stays standing though and waves Damato Jr back to his feet!
Damato Jr is rocked!
Hicks drops Damato Jr with a big left hand! Damato Jr is injured, injured bad! Hicks jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
