Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Gragula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Page has chosen The Hand That Feeds as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Gragula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Page! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gragula dives in for a single leg takedown but Page sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Page throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gragula. Page looks to score with a jab to the body but Gragula is just out of range. Page connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Page throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gragula closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Page did well to prevent Gragula getting side control. Gragula is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gragula performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Page tries to kick Gragula off but Gragula keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gragula wants to free his trapped foot but Page is holding on for dear life with his legs. We've been hearing that Gragula has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gragula is working for a guillotine from mount but Page frees his head quite easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gragula looking to ground and pound but Page is blocking nicely. Gragula is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Page has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Page! Gragula is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Page prevents Gragula from getting back to his feet. Gragula has a closed guard, preventing Page from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Page is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gragula throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Page wants to stand but Gragula is controlling his posture from full guard. Gragula is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Page is aware though and is defending well. Gragula is looking for a triangle but Page pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gragula escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Page gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gragula looking to control but Page passes into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jab from Page. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Viktor Gragula will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gragula moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Page looks to land a left hand but Gragula moved out of range nicely. Page slaps away a takedown attempt from Gragula, before circling back to the center of the mat. Page looks like he wants to counter punch here. Nice takedown defense from Page. No joy for Gragula on that attempt. Page lands with an overhand left. Page thows a left - swing and a miss! Gragula feinted with a counter takedown. Page throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gragula. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Page misses with an uppercut. Gragula changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Page scores with a jab. Page looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Page throws a head kick that misses and Gragula counters with a single leg into guard. Page didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! Gragula drops back, looking for a kneebar! Page looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Page looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Page! Gragula sneaks back into half guard. Page tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gragula.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Page escapes and gets back to his feet. Page throws the kick towards the body but Gragula avoids it. Gragula is looking for a counter combo. Page misses with a straight right. Gragula seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Page cracks Gragula with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gragula shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Page wants to get back to his feet. Gragula is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Page defends it well.

Kyle Page showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Gragula tries to score a power double leg takedown but Page sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gragula somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page misses with a looping left. Gragula slips under a jab. Kyle Page is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gragula tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Page paws at him with a jab and circles away. Page stuffs the takedown attempt from Gragula. Gragula gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Gragula. That's going to take a lot out of him. Page looks to land a right hand but Gragula moved out of range. Page swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Page tests Gragula's chin there with a solid looking shot. Page keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Page scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gragula doesn't seem bothered though.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Gragula. Gragula shoots in for a takedown but Page shows good takedown defense. Gragula on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gragula clinches with his opponent.
Gragula keeps control of Page as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Page's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gragula fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Page! But no joy. Page misses with a double jab.

Gragula bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice body punch from Page. Page has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Page swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gragula slips a jab from Page. A shot to the liver by Page. Beautiful body shot. Page works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A big left from Page misses. Page misses with a looping right. Kyle Page seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gragula misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Gragula counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gragula is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Page is just riding it out for now. Gragula eventually gives up the hold. Gragula is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Page has managed to free his arm - good work. Gragula is looking for a kimura but Page is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gragula to get the leverage.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Page comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Page has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
