Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Bocceli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward McManis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

McManis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bocceli is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Bocceli gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bocceli gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bocceli apologises and we restart here on the feet.
McManis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McManis throws a low kick but Bocceli avoids it.

McManis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bocceli moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bocceli's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? McManis is holding on here and Bocceli must be using up a lot of energy. McManis has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bocceli gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
