Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Mijain Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira has chosen One stop as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mijain Lopez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Thiago Oliveira! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Lopez blocks a low kick nicely. An attempted straight right counter from Lopez misses the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lopez blocks a leg kick. Lopez is looking to counter punch. Lopez rushes Oliveira and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oliveira looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Lopez taking a breather. Lopez trying to stall but Oliveira improves his position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Oliveira as Lopez tries to tie him up. Lopez can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lopez has Oliveira pressed against the ropes, preventing Oliveira from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Both fighters working to control the clinch. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Mijain Lopez. Oliveira avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Oliveira only half commits to the counter leg kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oliveira attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mijain Lopez dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Lopez misses with a low kick as Oliveira jumps back. Oliveira tries a quick counter leg kick but Lopez is wise to it. Lopez darts in and clinches Oliveira up against the ropes. Oliveira is trying to break the clinch but Lopez has him pressed against the ropes. A frustrated look appears on Oliveira's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oliveira is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Lopez taking a breather.

Oliveira has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Oliveira as Lopez tries to tie him up. A battle for position here, against the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lopez trying to control the position but instead, Oliveira has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lopez into the ropes. Mijain Lopez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A short body shot lands from Oliveira as the two fighters clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Mijain Lopez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lopez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
