Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marty Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maestro Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marty Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maestro Fresh! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fresh pulls Bell into guard.
Fresh has Bell pulled in close to control his posture. Fresh trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Bell preventing the sweep. Fresh controls Bell momentarily but Bell frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fresh is trying to keep Bell in close.
Fresh wants to hit a switch here but Bell passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fresh there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fresh tries to lock up and control but Bell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bell controlling the pace for now. Bell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fresh wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bell.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bell throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Fresh is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Bell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fresh is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bell cracks Fresh with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bell working away from the top, dropping strikes. Bell avoids the attempt from Fresh to control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fresh is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fresh manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fresh wants to control the action here but instead Bell manages to pass to full mount! Bell goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fresh is on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fresh postures up and lands a big shot to Bell's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fresh trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. Fresh wants to pass the guard but Bell is keeping the position. Fresh is stalling in the full guard. Bell is adopting a defensive guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fresh trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marty Bell dominated that round. That's time! Bell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice sprawl there from Bell as Fresh shoots in. Bell moves into the clinch successfully.
Bell gets control of Fresh's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bell will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fresh trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. Bell looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bell has his hands on Fresh's head, controlling the position. Bell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fresh is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fresh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fresh trying to control the position from guard on top but Bell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fresh can do to turn this around?

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fresh is defended easily by Bell. Bell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fresh napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Bell working the ground and pound but Fresh is defending the strikes. Bell working away. Fresh is looking for a sweep. Fresh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bell's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Fresh on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fresh is trying to maintain the position but Bell is very close to passing his half guard. Marty Bell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bell missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bell is thwarting Fresh's attempts to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bell instigates a clinch. Fresh drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bell pulls his leg out and moves away.
Marty Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maestro Fresh. Fresh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Marty Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fresh is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. An elbow from Bell crashes against the mat.
Fresh is trying to control Bell's posture but Bell avoids it. Fresh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bell's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fresh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bell. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marty Bell dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Fresh gets tackled into the cage by Bell. Bell maintains the clinch. Fresh tries to pull guard but Bell holds him up against the cage and eventually Fresh drops back down to his feet.

Fresh shoots for a double leg takedown but Bell sprawls well. He's pushed Fresh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bell moves into the clinch. Bell is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Fresh has Bell pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bell manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Marty Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maestro Fresh. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fresh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bell gets to his feet - Fresh follows without any prompting. Bell closes the distance and pushes Fresh back into the cage. Fresh is trying to break free. Fresh is trying to drag Bell to the mat but Bell just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Bell. Bell pulls guard effortlessly. Fresh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bell trying to keep a closed guard but Fresh is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fresh wants to control from the top but Bell keeps moving. Fresh is fighting to break Bell's control of his arms but Bell is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bell punching from the bottom - just letting Fresh know he's still in a fight. Bell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fresh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bell tries to avoid it but Fresh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A little feinted left hand from Bell on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fresh gets tackled into the cage by Bell. Bell maintains the clinch. Fresh wants to stall.
Fresh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bell wants the takedown. Fresh is fighting it off but Bell persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fresh's guard against the cage. Fresh wants to sweep here but Bell controlling him for the moment. Bell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bell working some strikes from top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bell working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Marty Bell showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
