Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chung LiFat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chung LiFat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Fury!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chung LiFat!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury thuds his right hand into LiFat's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fury looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fury gets the takedown into side control.
Fury in side control lands a decent elbow.
LiFat looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fury scoring with punches and elbows.
LiFat tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fury is chipping away with strikes.
LiFat manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fury keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
LiFat looks to land a strike but Fury avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
LiFat postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fury avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fury pulls LiFat in to control the position.
LiFat passes easily into side control. Nice work.
LiFat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fury keeps working.
Fury really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
You can see the frustration on Fury's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fury tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but LiFat wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fury is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fury keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
LiFat is keen to just control but Fury is a slippery customer.
LiFat with the ground and pound but Fury uses the opportunity to regain guard.

LiFat postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fury is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of LiFat, into his guard.

LiFat is trying to control the position but Fury postures up.
LiFat has momentary wrist control but Fury slips an elbow through the middle.

LiFat is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fury is aware though and is defending well.

LiFat is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
LiFat looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fury puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ground and pound from Fury.
LiFat trying to hold on to Fury's head to control him but Fury postures up.
Fury has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fury connects with a nice short shot to LiFat's temple.
LiFat gets full guard.
Fury trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fury postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
LiFat working a defensive guard but Fury manages to pass into side control anyway.
Fury is looking to take a break and control but LiFat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
LiFat is looking for a sweep.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if LiFat can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
LiFat taking a bit of punishment here - Fury scoring with strikes.
Fury working the head and body with strikes.
LiFat tries to improve position but can't.
Fury lands some shots froms side control.
Fury moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
LiFat is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fury connects with a decent elbow.

LiFat takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fury wants to control but LiFat is keeping him busy.
Fury wants to take a breather but LiFat manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Fury.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Fury dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Fury looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for LiFat!
LiFat is trying to control Fury's posture but Fury avoids it.
LiFat gets back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fury tries to pass to full mount but LiFat defends it.
Fury looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fury drops an elbow to the side of LiFat's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ground and pound from Fury.
Fury is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
LiFat has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fury is working away from the top position though.
Frank Fury overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fury is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for LiFat!
LiFat is looking to improve his position but Fury isn't that keen on the idea.
Fury avoids the attempt from LiFat to control.
LiFat is in a horrible position here. Fury smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.


LiFat is rocked!
Fury postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. LiFat looks a forlorn figure.
LiFat is still in real trouble! Can Fury finish him?
Fury lands a big shot to the head and LiFat winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Frank Fury!
Frank Fury retains his bantamweight title!
After winning the bout, Frank Fury thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
