Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Connor Mcdavid! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcdavid is defended easily by Daniel. Mcdavid fails with a takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Daniel.

Daniel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniel scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Mcdavid controls Daniel momentarily but Daniel frees himself. Daniel seems content to control from guard here. Daniel working Mcdavid over with strikes. Daniel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Daniel passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mcdavid! Mcdavid is bucking up trying to escape but Daniel cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Daniel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mcdavid looks a forlorn figure.
Daniel lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcdavid fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Daniel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcdavid sprawls well. Mcdavid wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daniel gets slowly back to his feet. Daniel checks a leg kick. Mcdavid avoids the body shot from Daniel.
Mcdavid goes for a double leg but Daniel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daniel continues to drive forward. No luck with that takedown attempt from Daniel. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A momentary lapse in concentration from Daniel enables Mcdavid to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daniel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Daniel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcdavid is fighting to break Daniel's control of his arms but Daniel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Daniel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mcdavid can do to turn this around? Daniel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Daniel trying to control from half guard but Mcdavid is working away. Daniel has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Daniel putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniel looking to finish Mcdavid with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mcdavid! Mcdavid squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Daniel lands a nice shot to the head. Mcdavid is breathing heavily. Daniel fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Mcdavid is rocked! Mcdavid takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Daniel's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jasper Daniel! Our winner, Jasper Daniel, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
