Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fred Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mati Krol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Fred Jackson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mati Krol! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a combination
and Krol counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Krol throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Krol stops Jackson from getting back to his feet.
Krol stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jackson to get to his feet. Jackson tries to bum rush Krol with a series of wild strikes but Krol uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Krol on that attempt. Jackson lands a jab to the nose. Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Krol takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jackson misses the shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Krol bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Krol dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Krol moves out of range as Jackson strikes. Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Krol on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Krol scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krol is working away from the top position though. Krol prevents Jackson from improving his position. Krol missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position. Krol seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Krol winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jackson is trying to control but can't.
Jackson is not content to let Krol control the position. Krol slows the pace down in half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Krol has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Krol is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Krol keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jackson is trying to maintain the position but Krol is very close to passing his half guard. Krol looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jackson is staying active underneath Krol, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson is looking for a sweep. Krol is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Krol is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jackson defends it well. Krol trying to pass the guard but Jackson defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krol slows the pace down in half guard.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krol circles away quickly and effectively. Krol on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jackson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson looks to throw the jab but Krol is out of range. Krol with the counter takedown but Jackson avoids it easily. Krol shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Krol looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fred Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mati Krol. Krol moves out of range as Jackson strikes. Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krol circles away quickly and effectively. Krol tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Krol somewhat. Krol dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.
Krol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Krol looks winded! Jackson swinging wildly here.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Jackson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jackson throws a combination that misses
and Krol counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Krol has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Krol lands a couple of digs. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Krol is controlling him. Krol sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jackson working a defensive guard but Krol passes into half guard.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krol on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Krol manages to mount him!
Jackson wants to control but Krol is having none of it. Krol content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Krol lands a big shot there that rocks Jackson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Krol moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jackson has worked his arm free - good work by Jackson!
Krol wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working. Jackson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Krol wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Krol drags him back down. Krol working the ground and pound from side control. Krol throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Jackson is trying to control Krol's posture but Krol avoids it. Krol is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Krol controls the position. Jackson is pushing Krol's head away, looking to escape. Krol manages to hold on to the position though.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Krol closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jackson quickly recovers to half guard.
Krol is looking for a kimura but Jackson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Krol to get the leverage. Krol looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jackson trying to control here.
Krol controlling the action here. Jackson is looking to escape. Krol is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jackson!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Krol. Krol lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Krol's attempts to control the action. Krol controlling the position easily from mount. Krol has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Krol jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt. Krol is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Mati Krol showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It seemed like Krol was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Jackson misses with a hook. Krol ducked under it nicely. Jackson feints a jab promting Krol to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Krol slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Jackson thuds a left hand into Krol's body. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Krol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Krol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Krol shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson stuffs the takedown. Fred Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mati Krol. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Krol's shoulder, as Krol tries to avoid the shot. Krol drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jackson defends it well. Krol slips under a jab from Jackson. No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Krol lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Jackson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Some wild striking there from Jackson.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Fred Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A nice combination there by Jackson.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Krol is just out of range. Krol shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Krol keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Krol takes a body punch but keeps moving.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krol circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson throws a hook to the side of Krol's head but Krol sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jackson misses with a hook. Krol ducked under it nicely. Fred Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krol darts in looking for a takedown but Jackson gets double underhooks and turns Krol into the cage. Krol avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Krol avoids nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson throws a jab when Krol was well out of range. Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Krol moves away and avoids it. Krol changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jackson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Krol counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Krol. Krol postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Krol passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Krol passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jackson! Krol landing strikes from the mount and Jackson is in trouble!
Krol is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Krol's body position as best he can. Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Krol's attempts to control the action.
Krol with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mati Krol has got the better of the ground game so far. Krol avoids the attempt from Jackson to control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Krol sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Krol has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Krol connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

And that's the end of the fight! Fred Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
