Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ron Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amazing by Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ron Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Silva! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva thows a left - swing and a miss! Silva avoids the head kick by Paul.
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Silva scores with a body shot.
Silva moves out of range as Paul throws a body kick.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Paul's head. Paul tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Paul wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paul trying to hold on to Silva's head to control him but Silva postures up.
Silva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Paul is looking to get back to is feet but Silva passes into side control.
Silva works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Silva trying to control the action but Paul is working from the bottom. Silva working the ground and pound but Paul is defending the strikes. Silva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Silva scoring with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Paul to see if he's OK. Paul seems a little lost for a moment, as Silva dominates the positioning. Paul looking for a sweep but Silva has passed into full mount! Oh no! Paul keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Silva prevents Paul from getting the reversal. Paul sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paul does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Silva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Paul has managed to free his arm - good work. Silva is just content to waste time from the top position. Paul takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Paul is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Paul keeping full guard, as Silva tries to pass. Paul is looking to cinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paul's body to avoid the submission. Paul has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paul arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ron Paul! The defeated Pablo Silva had this to say: 'I feel a little disappointed on the outcome of this fight. Today he is the better man and I congratulate him on the win.
