Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nakamora.
Nakamora fails to land the takedown.
Matthews clobbers Nakamora with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Hiro Nakamora has been cut.
Nakamora takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Matthews stuffs the takedown.
Mitrione Matthews has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiro Nakamora.
Matthews closes the distance and clinches.
Matthews lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Nakamora tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Matthews's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nakamora will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hiro Nakamora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left lands for Matthews.
Nakamora looks for a takedown but Matthews sprawls well.
Matthews tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Nakamora paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Matthews connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Nakamora! He's out on his feet! Matthews rushes in and drops Nakamora with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mitrione Matthews!
