Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trev Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heath has chosen Jump by VAN HALEN as his entrance music. Josh Heath told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trev Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Josh Heath!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen needs to keep his hands up - Heath had a free shot at his head there.
Allen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Allen takes the fight into the clinch.
Allen lands with a light punch inside.
Heath lands a right hand that snaps the head of Allen backwards.
Allen manages to pull guard.
Allen trying to control the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Allen is on top in guard.
Allen tries to free his leg and advance position but Heath is retaining full guard.
Allen wants to control from the top but Heath keeps moving.
Allen lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Allen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've been hearing that Allen has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Allen wants to pass the guard but Heath is keeping the position.
Allen scoring with punches to the head and body.
Heath is rocked!
Allen postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Heath covers up, he's hurt! Allen keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Allen and the ref steps in to end the fight! Allen can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trev Allen!
