Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Arthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Farrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arthur comes to the ring accompanied by Mortal Kombat. The crowd seem to be enjoying Farrah's choice of entrance music: Work In Progress. Chuck Arthur could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Farrah's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Arthur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Farrah! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farrah moves in looking to clinch but Arthur pushes him off. Farrah shoots in for a takedown but Arthur shows good takedown defense. Arthur tries to clinch up. Arthur throws a right and a left that both miss. The fight moves into the clinch position. Farrah fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Arthur is looking to break free of the clinch but Farrah has double underhooks. Stalling in the clinch from Farrah.
Arthur drags the fight down to the ground.
Arthur looking for a sweep. Not yet Arthur, not yet. Arthur seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Arthur looking to hit a scissor sweep but Farrah is one step ahead there. Farrah wants to stand but Arthur has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arthur tries to strike from the bottom.
Farrah throwing strikes from guard but Arthur blocks nicely. Farrah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arthur swivels though and keeps the full guard. Farrah looks gassed! Farrah won't allow Arthur to sweep him here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Farrah throws a right and a left that Arthur avoids nicely. Arthur misses with a looping left. Arthur gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Farrah tries to stall but Arthur uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Arthur on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Farrah wants a takedown but no success here.
Chuck Arthur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Farrah. Arthur ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Arthur no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Arthur bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Farrah's guard. Arthur avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Farrah working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Arthur. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Arthur lands a couple of digs. Arthur passes easily into side control. Nice work. Arthur is looking to take a break and control but Farrah is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arthur is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Farrah is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Arthur lands a decent elbow from side control. Arthur wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Farrah, who protects the arm well. Check out the look on Arthur's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Arthur is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Farrah has escaped the position, nice work there. Farrah struggling a bit here. Arthur controls the position. Arthur lands a decent elbow from side control. Arthur stands up and beckons Farrah to his feet. Arthur fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Farrah sprawls well initially but Arthur persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Arthur dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Farrah shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Arthur decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Farrah's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Arthur accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Arthur wants to control from the top but Farrah keeps moving. Arthur drops back looking for a leg! Farrah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Farrah manages to kick Arthur off! Arthur jumps back into Farrah's guard. Arthur would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Arthur is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Farrah is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arthur pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Farrah is keeping the position for now. Farrah lands a decent shot there. Arthur trying to control the position from guard on top but Farrah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Farrah throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Arthur closes the distance looking to clinch and Farrah counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farrah trying to control the position but Arthur is working away. Farrah working away. Arthur sneaks back into half guard. Arthur looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arthur regains full guard. Nicely done. Arthur is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Arthur is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Arthur is looking to advance position but Farrah won't allow it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Arthur connects with a nice short shot to Farrah's temple. Farrah wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Farrah wants to get back to his feet. Arthur thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Farrah is not content to let Arthur control the position. Chuck Arthur overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Arthur not landing any meaningful shots this time. Farrah is trying to stand back up but Arthur is controlling him
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Arthur has Farrah up against the ropes in a clinch.
Farrah using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Arthur has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Farrah looking for a takedown. Farrah prevents a takedown attempt there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Arthur dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Farrah with a poor takedown and Arthur counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Arthur wants to control from the top but Farrah keeps moving. Arthur sitting in guard, not really doing much. Farrah looking to control.
Arthur pushes down on Farrah's leg and manages to get into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Farrah wants to get back to full guard. Arthur seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arthur works his way into side control. Arthur has knee on belly and moves into mount. Arthur looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Arthur with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farrah is trying desperately to improve position. Arthur controlling the position easily from mount. Arthur is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Farrah is in real trouble.
Arthur is trying to stick to Farrah's back but Farrah is turning into Arthur. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Arthur's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Farrah.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Farrah gets to his feet - Arthur follows without any prompting. Farrah tries to clinch up. Arthur has closed the distance and engaged Farrah in a clinch.
Farrah lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Arthur letting Farrah take a breather here. Arthur missing with knees to the body.
Farrah is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Arthur is keeping busy. Arthur tries to pull guard but Farrah won't allow it.
Arthur wants to break the clinch but can't.
Farrah breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Farrah.
Chuck Arthur is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Arthur doesn't manage to clinch there - Farrah circles away.
Arthur closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arthur lands in his opponent's guard. Arthur passes Farrah's left leg - he's now in half guard. Farrah wants to get back to his feet. Joe Farrah has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chuck Arthur is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Arthur slips a nice elbow through Farrah's hands, connecting with Farrah's forehead.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Arthur showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Arthur, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
